My children have been saving their pocket money to buy me and Grandma gifts for Mothers’ Day. They love the idea of buying gifts for us with their own money. We have found a great website that has a range of gifts that appeal to my children and the type of gifts that they would like to buy us.
My son is very keen on buying the Butterflies Magic Sculpture for £6.00 as he thinks that it is very pretty and that I would love it.
He has also seen a 1980s Sweet Memories jigsaw puzzle (£12.00) that he knows that I would really enjoy using. Especially since we have recently reviewed a Portapuzzle, where I could store a new jigsaw puzzle as I complete it. Plus, somehow he’s worked out that I was born in the 80s.
Both children think that Grandma would like to grow her own chocolate for £10.00. I must say, I agree. Grandma would really enjoy a gift like this.
After taking ages to make even the simplest decisions at times, my children think that a Decision Maker for £5.00 would be good for me. Unfortunately, I think that they are probably right.
My son was thinking about getting his Grandma a Grow Your Own Lucky Four Leaf Clover for £4.00 for times when she is feeling unlucky, due to Great Gran regularly winning prizes in competitions that she enters, the lottery and bingo. Grandma doesn’t often win at these so a bit of luck might help.
There are many gifts on the Hawkins Bazaar website that are under £10, and even some that are 6 gifts for £15 at the moment. I think that these affordable gifts are great for children to be able to use their pocket money to buy their Mothers and Grandmothers gifts for Mothers’ Day.
What will you buy your Mum and Grandma this Mothers’ Day?
