Pass Around the World is an where Allianz and Saracens RFC are encouraging people to upload a contribution to a video where people are passing a rugby ball around the world. The idea is to bring all sorts of people from different walks of life together and to possibly win prizes along the way. Here is more information about it:
All you need to do is make a short video of your rugby pass. The ball must come in from the left and must be passed right. The video should be less than 10 seconds long and under 30MB in size. If you are recording this on a mobile phone, you should turn the phone sideways when recording. Once complete, upload it onto the Pass Around the World website. When you have submitted your video, you will be entered into a prize draw to win all sorts of wonderful prizes, such as £150 Ticketmaster voucher, tickets to see the Saracens play, signed rugby balls or the top prize which is to have lunch with the team after a training session. Please refer to the full terms and conditions on the website.
I think that this would be a great thing for families to get involved in. I can just imagine the rugby ball being passed whilst the children are out in the garden. Maybe your children could make up a little dance once they have caught the ball? Maybe you could make the video interesting by passing it backwards and forwards? I imagine our dog would get involved when the ball is thrown. You can use your imagination or you can simply catch then throw the ball again. It is up to you.
It will be wonderful to see the whole video of lots of different people passing the rugby ball all around the world. Upload your video then invite a friend to upload theirs. It would be great to get as many people as possible joining in with this project. People that have already taken part include: Owen Farrell and his teammates, Lewis Hamilton, Bayern Munich FC team, Paul McGinley as well as hundreds of people across the world.
So, what are you waiting for? Upload your video and tell your friends about this amazing Pass Around the World video project. Search for #PassAroundTheWorld on social media.
