Project 365 Week 4

Here is our Project 365 Week 4.

Day 18 was spent with Grandma and Granddad, in front of their warm, cosy fire.  It was very cold outside so we felt much better sitting inside.

Day 19  I was very excited to see that my blog has had over 10,000 views.

Today I reached this milestone-over 10,000 views on my blog! Very exciting! Thanks everyone 🙂 x

Day 20 was a Nursery and School day but H came home full of beans.  She has been enjoying using her Gruffalo magnet book.  She spent some time giggling as some of the magnets stuck together.  Things three year olds find funny!

On Day 21 we had a wander around town and took some photographs for the #SchoolRunColours linky.

Day 22 was spent baking cakes, crafting and reading.  You can read about our ‘Five Minutes Peace’ activities here.

Day 23 was not a good day.  I managed to hurt my finger (my own fault, I’ll admit).  I am still in pain with it now so lots of painkillers, antibiotics and soaking it in salty water.  You can read about the dangers of biting fingernails here.

Day 24 was a day spent relaxing with Floppy dog.  The children went to their Dad’s for the day so I read a book and even managed to have a nap for an hour (the painkillers made me very sleepy).  I usually only read blog posts and children’s books nowadays so it was good to read a book intended for adults.  S and H both came back at 6pm, as S decided he didn’t want to stay at his Dad’s that night so we snuggled up and watched Stars in their Eyes.  It was lovely and made S feel a bit happier.

You can’t beat snuggling up by a cosy fire! Hope your finger is better now.

  • Hurrah for a cosy fire and the miracles of painkillers. Hope that you are on the mend now. I couldn’t agree more about the joys of reading a book for grownups every now and then. Lovely school run picture too!

its nice to get some child free time, you were quite right to make the most of it. Shame they did not stay away, but better back and happy than away and sad. I bite my finger nails as well, naughty aren’t we. Children find the most silly things funny dont they. Commenting on behalf of Project 365 as well as myself.
