Summer Weddings Start in June

*Advertorial

We have been to several weddings over the last few years, most of which have been in the Summer months.  Traditionally, June is when Summer weddings start.  For some of my friends, marriage is a very important aspect of life.  Finding that one person to love and be by your side for the rest of your life is something that many people hope to have.  Others I know, are not keen on getting married as they do not believe that marriage is more than a piece of paper, which is not necessary to strengthen their love for one another.  Whatever your thoughts are about getting married to the one you love, I’m sure most people would agree that a good wedding is something that is to be enjoyed and celebrated, whether it is you that is getting married or not.  There is a long history of how people have typically viewed marriage over the years.

For me, weddings nowadays are viewed as special celebrations where family and friends of the happy couple can meet and enjoy a happy day.  My Brother and my Sister in Law got married during the Summer months.  Their wedding was absolutely beautiful.  There was a lot of planning that went into it which meant that the special day was absolutely perfect.

Finding a venue that has a special meaning to the couple, choosing the right cake design and special people for the big day can often take months, if not years for some couples.

Finding suitable entertainment for guests and keeping the younger members of the wedding party busy while the photographer is busy capturing the happy couple’s special day is a must for many weddings nowadays.

Overall, I think that weddings are still very popular and many people aspire to get married.  It is great to be able to celebrate two people getting married, after all it can be one of the most important days in a person’s life.  I love that weddings mean that you can meet up with family and friends that you might not have seen as regularly as you’d have liked.  It is wonderful to gather so many people in one place who are genuinely happy for the two people that have made the choice to get married.

Typically, weddings are more popular in and after June each year.  Did you have a Summer wedding?  Or would you prefer not to get married at all?
